Play and Paint Co is looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable person to join our creative art studio in Northbridge!
This role is perfect for someone who brings great energy, enjoys working with children and can create a fun, welcoming experience for every customer who visits our studio.
We are currently looking to fill shifts on:
12:00 pm–4:00 pm mostly on weekends
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers and explaining how the studio works
- Engaging with children, families, couples and groups
- Helping customers choose their canvases, colours and painting techniques
- Preparing painting stations and materials
- Assisting customers throughout their creative sessions
- Cleaning and resetting the studio between bookings
- Processing payments and supporting daily studio operations
- Taking occasional photos and videos for social media
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a warm, positive personality and great energy
- Is confident, patient and comfortable working with lots of children
- Provides excellent customer service to families, couples and groups
- Is reliable, organised and able to take initiative
- Can confidently manage a busy and creative studio environment
- Is available for the weekend shifts we are currently looking to fill
- Holds a valid Working with Children Check, or is willing to obtain one before starting
- Has customer service, hospitality, childcare or similar experience—preferred, but not essential
No professional art experience is required. Full training will be provided on our painting techniques and studio processes.
