Job Summary
Fleet Space Technologies is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and maintain the IT systems that enable engineering, satellite operations, AI, and corporate teams to work efficiently. You will support hardware, software, cloud services, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity initiatives while ensuring secure and reliable IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and business applications.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows, macOS, and Linux devices.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Support cloud services, enterprise applications, networking, and endpoint management.
- Install security updates, maintain endpoint protection, and assist with cybersecurity initiatives.
- Document IT support activities, maintain technical documentation, and contribute to process improvements.
- Assist with system upgrades, software deployments, and global IT projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, business teams, and external technology partners to deliver high-quality IT support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience providing IT support in a technology-focused environment.
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Jira Service Management, GitLab, endpoint management tools, and cybersecurity practices is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
