Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Painter with Project Management experience to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes while effectively managing projects, teams, and client relationships. You’ll be responsible for overseeing painting projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate is required to have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position and a relevant certificate III/IV.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage residential and/or commercial painting projects from planning through completion
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint, coatings, and finishes to a high professional standard
- Supervise and coordinate painting teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide updates
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Inspect completed work and address any issues promptly
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a professional painter (minimum 5 years)
- Demonstrated experience in project management or team leadership
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Current driver’s license (essential)
- Relevant certifications or trade qualifications (preferred)
