The Position
This senior role is suited to an experienced engineer with strong technical capability in electrical systems and a practical understanding of construction delivery. As Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in developing detailed work packs, refining engineering deliverables, firming up quantities, and optimising construction sequences and methodologies to drive efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities

Developed detailed construction methodologies and Construction Method Statements (CMS), ensuring constructability, safe work execution, temporary works compliance, and integration of innovative engineering and contractor solutions.

Coordinated cross-functional engineering, construction, and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges, assess alternatives, and implement practical solutions that balanced project, operational, and business objectives.

Prepared and maintained project execution plans, resource schedules, labour histograms, and delivery strategies, ensuring alignment with programme milestones, budget requirements, and client expectations.

Managed critical path activities by proactively identifying schedule risks, analysing procurement and logistics constraints, implementing mitigation strategies, and monitoring project performance to minimise delays and maximise productivity.

Directed construction engineering activities by ensuring approved methodologies were effectively implemented, maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and driving accountability across project teams.
Required Skills and Competencies

Electrical Engineering degree (or similar)

Minimum 7 years’ experience in construction industry with extensive experience in electrical installation in process power plants

Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills

Knowledge of engineering project management principles
