We are looking for a safety-focused and reliable Operator to join our Product Distribution Centre in Cairns.
This hands-on role is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient production, handling, storage and dispatch of fertiliser products while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.

Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate fixed and mobile plant equipment to support production, product handling, storage and dispatch activities
- Complete production and dispatch activities in accordance with operational schedules, quality standards and site procedures
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues to support plant reliability
- Accurately complete operational records and ERP transactions (SAP/D365)
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and environmental compliance across the site
- Follow safe work procedures and actively contribute to Ridley's Zero Harm culture
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and transport providers to achieve operational and customer service outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity and operational performance
The key skills required for this role include:
- Experience operating fixed and/or mobile plant within a production, manufacturing, logistics or distribution environment
- Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Sound computer skills, including experience with ERP systems such as SAP or D365 (desirable)
- Loader or other mobile plant competency (desirable)
