About the Role
The System Administrator for the SCV ASM application will be involved with the roll out, testing and a secure and stable IT environment with which to treat patients, report on specific data sets and maintain system access levels and provide application support to the business.
Key result areas:
Creating and updating appropriate documentation relating to the SCV ASM application.
Supporting and troubleshooting for application issues.
Liaising with Monash Health employees to address simple ‘how to’ questions.
Develop maintenance schedule.
Co-ordinate and/or facilitate upgrades ensuring testing and user notification.
Liaise with vendor regarding issues.
Publish training and manual for resources for user community.
Create and manage users’ accounts and security rights.
Ensuring Central tickets are managed in a timely manner and closed off with appropriate levels of documentation.
Professional and customer focused communications via both the Central ticket management system and phone.
Maintain and adhere to operational procedures and complete appropriate support documentation when procedures change.
Develop and maintain a customer focused culture and contribute to a friendly and co-operative working environment, fostering strong working relationships with all colleagues to deliver quality outcomes.
Build and leverage relationships internally with Digital and Information Division teams such as Service Desk, Infrastructure, Desktop Experience, and Support Services.
Participate in ad hoc projects as directed by Director of Application Services.
Other duties as assigned from time to time by the Head of Partner Applications.
About You
Qualifications, registrations and licences:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in a system administrator role or similar.
Technical skills, knowledge and experience:
Excellent verbal/written communication and documentation skills.
A strong desire and capability to listen, analyse and recommend.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Excellent time and personnel management skills.
Ability to work within deadlines.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Experience with clinical communication systems or healthcare IT.
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform and Teams functionality
