About the role
We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Facilities & Warehouse Lead to take ownership of our Bayswater facility and warehouse operations. This is more than a coordination role — we're seeking someone who can identify what needs to be done, plan ahead, drive improvements and ensure our site operates safely, efficiently and professionally every day. Based on the position requirements, the role involves oversight of warehouse, yard, facilities, logistics and contractor activities while supporting operational teams across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the day-to-day operation and presentation of the warehouse and yard
Planning and prioritising warehouse, logistics and facility activities
Coordinating incoming and outgoing equipment, materials and deliveries
Managing facility maintenance programs and contractor activities
Overseeing site services including security, CCTV, fire systems, waste management and building upkeep
Supporting equipment movements, inspections and warehouse operations
Coordinating domestic and international freight and courier requirements
Managing storage allocation across warehouse and yard locations
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and establishing new processes where required
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Rental Solutions, Engine Solutions and Large Power Solutions
Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and compliance across the site
What you’ll bring
You're a self-starter who naturally takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what needs doing. You enjoy creating order, improving processes and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Previous experience leading warehouse, yard, facilities or operational support activities
Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
A proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions
Experience managing contractors, facilities maintenance or logistics operations
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across multiple teams
Forklift Licence (essential - But can be obtained once joined)
Current Driver's Licence (essential)
Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems
A strong commitment to Safety, Wellbeing and continuous improvement
