Do you want to actively participate in shaping policies and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy adoption, and enhance the overall environmental performance of the transport network?
In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team leading sustainability partnering services across Transport Infrastructure Projects, this role will see you work across a portfolio of programs and projects to drive sustainability outcomes across the transport network to align with Transport’s enterprise goals and government priorities. This role will see you supporting road, heavy rail, light rail and maritime projects at various stages including business case, delivery and operations.
You will provide specialist sustainability guidance and advice to a variety of stakeholders including project teams and delivery partners often sitting in on project meetings for multiple projects large and small located across NSW.
The team hub for this role will be located in Macquarie Park and there will be the expectation that the successful candidate will be able to commit to our 50% workplace presence requirements.
We are currently recruiting one permanent role and one temporary opportunity up to 9 months

About you
Your excellent communication and strong stakeholder engagement skills formed while working across transport infrastructure projects will see you excel in providing appropriate advice and guidance to assist the project teams at their various stages including sustainability rating tools, carbon management, circular economy principles and climate resilience.
You're recognised as a sustainability professional skilled at partnering with a range of stakeholders, experienced in transport infrastructure projects.
