We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Sales Area Manager to join our Sales team.
Reporting to the National Business Manager, this role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail accounts within an assigned territory. You’ll drive sales growth through strong account planning, commercial negotiation, accurate forecasting and exceptional in-market execution.
This role plays a key part in strengthening customer partnerships, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring Koko Black’s premium brand experience is consistently represented across all customer touchpoints. This role is predominantly field based, with occasional interstate travel required.

Build and deliver account plans that achieve sales objectives across your territory

Manage and grow existing customer relationships through structured engagement plans

Identify and convert new business opportunities where Koko Black’s offer is the right fit

Negotiate orders, ranging and shelf space to maximise commercial outcomes

Drive flawless in-store execution across all assigned customers

Lead launches of new and seasonal product ranges to secure strong on-shelf presence from day one

Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Planning

Participate in forecasting and S&OP planning cycles to support business performance

Monitor market trends, customer insights and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth

Ensure CRM data and customer planning information is accurate and up to date
You’re a proactive and commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building strong relationships and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll bring:

Experience in FMCG, retail sales, account management or a similar customer-facing commercial role

Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills

Commercial acumen with confidence interpreting sales performance and market opportunities
