About the role
We're seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join our team on a part-time basis in Sydney, NSW. This is a crucial role that ensures our premium jerky products reach our kiosks promptly and in perfect condition. You will need to have confidence in navigating collection of our stock from freight airport terminals and delivering to our kiosk across Sydney. This position offers the opportunity to work independently whilst representing our brand values. The role requires you to work a range of 25-30hrs per week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
What you'll be doing
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to the Jerky Co NSW stores in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
- Ensure items are complete and packed correctly
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
- Perform frequent lifting and carrying of goods
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from customers.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
- Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations

What we're looking for
- A valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar driving role
- Full knowledge of Sydney's road networks and geography, or strong ability to navigate using GPS systems
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Physical fitness and capability to load and unload goods safely
- Reliability and punctuality with a professional approach to work
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Food safety awareness and understanding of product handling requirements
