Collaborate with partners across Trading, Structuring, DCM, Syndicate, and Research to deliver comprehensive client coverage. This is an opportunity to help develop and maintain investor relationships across Australia and New Zealand, contributing to our growth in both liquid and illiquid credit markets.
As an Associate in Credit Sales, you will support the team's coverage of institutional investors primarily across Australia and New Zealand. You will partner closely with Trading, Syndicate/DCM, Structuring, and Research to help deliver market color, trade ideas, and efficient execution across primary and secondary markets. You'll contribute to client engagement, help drive day-to-day coverage priorities, and operate with strong discipline around risk management and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities

Partner with Trading, Structuring, DCM, Syndicate, and Research to support comprehensive client coverage across credit products in both liquid and illiquid credit.

Develop a strong understanding of key market drivers and build competence in supporting execution in both primary and secondary markets.

Support preparation for client interactions: pitching trade ideas, drafting market updates, preparing runs, coordinating follow-ups, and tracking outcomes.

Assist with trade execution workflows by coordinating across internal partners (e.g., Trading, Syndicate, Operations) to ensure timely and accurate delivery for clients.

Provide responsive coverage to a broad client base (asset managers, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds), escalating priorities appropriately to senior sales/trading partners.

Maintain and enhance client and pipeline management routines (coverage notes, opportunity tracking, meeting preparation, post-meeting follow-ups).

Identify potential prospect opportunities and support client acquisition efforts through research, outreach preparation, and leveraging internal networks.

Demonstrate strong awareness of the firm's risk framework; comply with applicable legal/regulatory rules and internal policies and procedures.

Collaborate with Digital Sales colleagues on targeted sales campaigns and client events.

Coordinate with Pricing and Index product partners to help prepare and deliver client pitches and product updates.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in credit sales, markets, trading support, or a closely related field.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or other related discipline.

Strong understanding of credit products, such as Loans, Corporate Bonds, RMBS/ABS, CDS, credit indices, and repo.

Ability to interpret market drivers and communicate implications clearly; strong curiosity and willingness to broaden product knowledge over time.

Detail-oriented with disciplined process execution and strong quality control mindset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
