About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced manager to lead our Darling Irrigation branches across Latrobe, Launceston and Scottsdale. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager – Water, you’ll drive commercial performance and operational excellence while building a strong, customer-focused and safety-first culture.
You will:
- Lead regional strategy and execute branch business plans to achieve sales, margin and profit targets
- Identify and convert growth opportunities across key markets and customer segments
- Coach and develop Branch Managers, Operations Managers, Service and Sales teams to deliver high performance
- Strengthen key customer and supplier relationships and elevate service standards
- Oversee inventory, pricing, forecasting and working capital to optimise performance
- Champion safety leadership and ensure WHS compliance across multiple sites
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice across the region
About You
You’re a skilled leader with deep industry experience and a passion for building high-performing teams.
You bring:
- Proven success in multi-site leadership within agriculture, irrigation or a related industry
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales, margin and profit growth
- Extensive experience in people leadership, coaching and performance management
- Capability in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Strong relationship management skills with customers, suppliers and stakeholders
- Experience managing inventory, debtors and operational performance
- Excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills
- A commitment to safety leadership and fostering a “Safety First, All Day Every Day” culture
