Are you an enthusiastic, quality focused and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher ready to join us as soon as possible on a permanent basis? Do you have a positive, can-do attitude? Come and work in a beautiful setting in a strong community centred area! You will lead and deliver the 4 year old program that runs as a rotational model across 3 days supported by two Co-Educators and a part time Administration Manager. You will also take on the roles of Nominated Supervisor (co-shared with the Administration Manager) and Educational Leader and be provided with extra non-contact hours for these roles every week. **Nominated Supervisor** will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the service meets all regulatory requirements and continues to deliver high-quality care. **Educational Leader** will drive the pedogogy our kindergarten, oversee educational programs and staff and provide strategic advice to an engaged Committee of Management. **Sessions:** * Mondays: 7:45-4:30pm (session time 8.15am-3.45pm) * Tuesday: 7:45-4:30pm (session time 8.15am-3.45pm) * Wednesdays: 7:45-4:30pm (session time 8.15am-3.45pm) **Admin & Leadership:** * 8am-2:15pm Wednesday and Friday The successful applicant will; * Be truely passionate about early childhood education * Provide a safe, healthy, welcoming and inclusive environment and ensure that children are supervised at all times * Lead and mentor other staff in order to sustain a collaborative, engaged and high performing team * Have thorough knowledge and understanding of child development and the VEYLDF/EYLF and ability to apply them in teaching practice * Show the ability to design, plan and implement creative individual and group programs, which support children's curiosity and foster their learning and development * Able to communicate effectively, listen and respond appropriately to children, families, staff, committee and members of the community * Excellent relationship building, interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence * Be able to build responsive and collaborative relationships with allied health professionals to support children's individual needs * Support and work cooperatively with the Committee of Management to implement programs, policies and regulatory requirements ensuring open communication on all matters relating to employment, management, finances, program and regulatory requirements of the service * Demonstrate and ensure child-safe practise at all times * Sound knowledge and ability to conduct themselves at all times in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), service policies and procedures and DE funding guide * Be committed to ongoing professional learning and development to enhance knowledge and skills
* have demonstrated experience as a Nominated Supervisor * previous leadership experience within the early childhood education sector * strong understanding of centre operations and NQF compliance and regulatory requirements * hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA) * have full VIT registation * First Aid Certificate (including current CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma * EC Protect training (mandatory reporting) certificate * National Child Safety Training certificate
