About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to join a major transformation initiative within the life insurance domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the end-to-end solution architecture for AI and Agentic AI capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems, data architecture, underwriting rule systems, security frameworks, and compliance requirements.
You will work closely with business, technology, data, engineering, and governance stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions that support underwriting and decision-making workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end architecture for AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
- Design the overall AI/Agentic AI ecosystem, including AI agents, orchestration, models, data flows, and supporting platforms.
- Develop robust integration strategies across AI solutions, enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and underwriting rule systems.
- Ensure AI architecture aligns with existing underwriting rules and decisioning systems, data architecture, and enterprise technology standards.
- Define security guardrails, responsible AI principles, governance frameworks, and compliance controls for AI solutions.
- Establish architecture patterns for secure and scalable deployment of AI capabilities into production environments.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure architecture is practical, scalable, and implementation-ready.
- Define solution blueprints covering cloud infrastructure, data, APIs, AI models, agent orchestration, security, monitoring, and deployment.
- Assess technology options and recommend appropriate AI platforms, frameworks, models, and integration patterns.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for scalability, reliability, performance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the AI solution lifecycle.
- Work with stakeholders to translate complex business and underwriting requirements into effective AI solution architectures.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an AI Solution Architect, AI Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar senior architecture role.
- Strong experience designing Generative AI and/or Agentic AI solutions at an enterprise scale.
- Experience with AI agents, agent orchestration, LLMs, RAG, AI platforms, and modern AI architectures.
- Strong understanding of enterprise solution architecture, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, data architecture, and system integration.
- Experience defining AI security guardrails, governance, responsible AI, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience designing scalable and secure AI deployment architectures.
- Strong understanding of integration between AI solutions and enterprise business/rules engines.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
- Experience within insurance, life insurance, financial services, or underwriting is highly desirable.
Pay: $1,050.00 – $1,100.00 per day
