We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Floor Staff to join the front-of-house team at Neighbour at Gasworks Plaza. This is a table service role — you will be the face of Neighbour on the floor, delivering warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to every guest who walks through the door.
You will report to the Venue Manager. We are hiring for both full-time (38 hours per week) and casual positions — Neighbour operates seven days a week and your roster will be set across five consecutive days accordingly. Weekend availability is a must.

- Provide attentive, personalised table service that reflects the Neighbour ethos
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the full food and beverage menu and communicate it confidently to guests
- Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar teams with clarity
- Create a welcoming atmosphere on the floor that makes every guest feel at home
- Manage the flow of the floor during service, working closely with the bar and kitchen teams
- Clear and reset tables promptly and to the required standard between sittings
- Assist with managing bookings and providing wait times to walk-in guests
- Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate issues to the Venue Manager when required
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all front-of-house areas throughout service
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required
- Uphold responsible service of alcohol standards at all times
- Support the broader FOH team and assist where needed during busy periods

- High standards of presentation, professionalism, and personal hygiene
- Current RSA certificate (Queensland)
- Physically capable of working on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, organised, and a genuine team contributor
