Children’s Village is opening a brand new 76 place early learning centre in Lidcombe, and we are looking for passionate, dedicated, and driven professionals to join our founding team and help create an exceptional learning environment for children and families.
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for a Director / Nominated Supervisor.
About the Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join a brand new service and play an important role in building a warm, welcoming, and high quality learning environment for children aged 0–6 years.
At Children’s Village, we value strong leadership, genuine teamwork, and meaningful relationships with children, families, and educators. We are seeking team members who are passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences.
Leadership & Support
Our team is led by a highly knowledgeable and supportive Approved Provider who holds a Master of Teaching qualification and has extensive experience in early childhood education and service management across multiple centres.
You will receive ongoing guidance, mentoring, and practical support from leadership who genuinely understand the day-to-day realities of the sector and are committed to helping educators grow professionally and succeed in their roles.
Whether you are an experienced leader or looking to further develop your skills, you will be supported every step of the way.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Current Child Protection Training
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Current Police Check
- Completed GECCKO Training
- Completed CPAT Training
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and business management capabilities
- Ability to build positive relationships with families, staff, and the local community
- Passion for creating engaging and meaningful experiences for children
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and professional environment
- Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor
- A minimum of 2 professional referees
Desirable Qualifications
- Food Safety Certificate
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Other professional training
