We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our busy automotive workshop in Ingleburn. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing light motor vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Motor Mechanic, your daily duties will include:Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and checking parts for wear and tear.Repairing and replacing worn or defective parts and reassembling mechanical components.Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to ensure vehicles run smoothly and comply with pollution regulations.Testing and adjusting repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer performance specifications.Diagnosing, repairing, and replacing defective engine management systems and electronic components.Inspecting vehicles and issuing roadworthiness certificates or detailing work required to achieve roadworthiness.Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:Qualification: A relevant Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis (or equivalent).Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Motor Mechanic.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
