- Lead a frontline NDIS support team in Perth
- Full operational accountability across a growing NDIS service
- Monthly RDO - an extra 12 days of leave per year
Every decision you make ripples out into someone's day - their support, their safety, their independence. That's not pressure to shy away from. It's exactly why you do this work.
As a Service Manager with Kanda in Perth, you'll lead a team of frontline support workers and be the one who sets the bar — for how they turn up, how participants are treated and what good care actually looks like when no one's watching. The people we support deserve consistency and skill, shift after shift, and your job is to make sure that's exactly what they get.
This isn't leadership from a distance. You're close enough to the work to feel its impact and senior enough to genuinely shape it.
What you'll be doing
- Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of frontline support workers to deliver consistent, high-quality, person-centred care
- Managing the operational and administrative end of the service — budgets, funding utilisation and mandatory reporting
- Developing and implementing service improvement initiatives that make a measurable difference to participant outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with NDIS legislation, reporting requirements and restrictive practice frameworks
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with participants, families, support workers and external stakeholders
- Supporting your team through complex and high-needs presentations with sound judgement and clear decision-making
You're the right person if...
- You have a minimum of two years' experience in service management or team leadership within the NDIS or a related human services environment
- You have strong working knowledge of NDIS legislation, funding frameworks and restrictive practice requirements
- You lead people well — not just manage them — and you know the difference
- You're highly organised, a sound decision-maker and calm when competing priorities hit at once
- You hold a Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor in Social Work, Community Services or a related field
- You hold or are willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and unrestricted Driver's Licence
