Permanent Full-Time - 76-80 hours per fortnight

Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional (if applicable)

Relevant tertiary qualification

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant senior management role

Contemporary quality and clinical risk management knowledge, with preference given to applicants with experience in and a working knowledge of health and aged care accreditation processes

Demonstrated ability to work at a strategic, tactical, and operational level within a complex organisation
-
Demonstrated strong, values-driven leadership skills with a commitment to working collaboratively to achieve agreed organisational vision and objectives, utilising an evidence-based quality approach

Demonstrated experience in working with a leadership team to create and realise a vision for the future

Proven, highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience in developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships and stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to Maryborough District Health Service

Demonstrated sound knowledge of contemporary management issues and practices relating to the provision of clinical governance in healthcare organisations

Extensive understanding of the principles of safety, quality, and risk management; a systems thinker who is highly curious and an innovative problem solver

Demonstrated ability to meet agreed goals and timeframes within a rapidly changing environment

Ability to interrogate data and identify practical solutions to problems, being results-driven and fostering productive and professional working relationships

Advanced report writing and computer skills

Experience in rural or regional healthcare settings
