About the Role:
The Communications and Campaigns Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) is responsible for developing and executing offline marketing campaigns across Retail’s two brands, as well as setting up targeted promotions and leading the creation of consumer-facing communications, including digital ad copy. The role also supports key brand partnerships and sponsorship obligations, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery across all consumer touchpoints.
Reporting to the Acting Head of Marketing - Retail, this maternity leave cover position ensures all campaign activity is aligned with broader marketing and business objectives and contributes to the overall success of the Retail division.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop an understanding of key customer segments and buyer behaviours across priority market areas, including greenfield and brownfield developments, competitive sites, business customers, and build-to-rent opportunities.
- Lead the planning and execution of offline marketing campaigns, including local area marketing, print, in-building activations, events, and sponsorship obligations.
- Develop and manage customer communications across product, service, compliance, and regulatory requirements across multiple channels including email, website, digital and print.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to review creative assets, deliver seasonal campaigns, and ensure promotions are accurately implemented and tracked.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain up-to-date website content, customer communications, and service-related information.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Ensure all marketing and communications activities comply with relevant regulatory and operational requirements.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Marketing Campaigns Manager, Marketing Executive, or similar generalist marketing role within a B2C environment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience briefing creative agencies and coordinating events
- Approximately 3 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred, or experience within utilities or professional services sectors
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Strong ability to write clear, concise, and engaging communications across multiple consumer-facing channels
- Proven ability to execute marketing strategies and report on key performance metrics
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver campaigns and channel programs that drive sales and enhance customer experience
- Solid understanding of campaign performance metrics including leads, conversions, cost per acquisition, and pipeline contribution
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, as well as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new systems, tools, and technologies as required
