Powerplants Australia is a privately-owned family company based in Hallam, Victoria. Established in 1994, the company has grown from strength to strength over the last 25 years to become Australia's premier Greenhouse Technology provider.
Due to expansion, we are looking to employ a suitably qualified Controls Technician.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is crucial to the continued growth of our business. The role is primarily to install and commission greenhouse automation systems for customers based all over Australia.
The successful applicant requires a working knowledge and understanding of control systems and instrumentation, the role would take into consideration the applicants need to learn industry specific control systems.

Skills and Experience
In addition to installing and commissioning automation systems, the successful applicant will have the ability to gain knowledge and experience with greenhouse systems and hardware such as:

Electrical cable trays and cables

Other greenhouse systems as required
You will be a team player with a flexible attitude, willing to up-skill yourself if necessary and have the ability to work autonomously. You will possess highly advanced communication skills (both oral and written) and be computer literate. Part of this role requires the applicant to work at heights and in hot conditions. There will also be opportunity to travel Australia wide.
