Maitland Hospital is offering a rotational SRMO training opportunity for motivated doctors looking to consolidate their clinical skills while exploring career pathways across a range of specialties.
This role is ideal for trainees seeking a well-rounded experience, including exposure to surgical terms, to support future training applications and career development.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of clinical rotations
- Participate in day-to-day management of patients within multidisciplinary teams
- Gain experience in acute and elective care, including surgical and medical specialties
- Develop clinical decision-making and procedural skills
- Contribute to teaching, audit, and quality improvement activities
- Work under supervision with regular feedback from experienced clinicians
Training opportunities
- Rotations across key specialties (e.g. surgery, emergency medicine, medicine, and other core areas)
- Exposure to theatre, inpatient and outpatient care depending on term allocation
- Opportunities to develop a broad clinical skillset relevant to multiple career pathways
