The Patient Transport Officer is an operational role within AMR reporting to the Operations Manager or to another senior operational position from time to time.
The purpose of the Patient Transport Officer is to provide a high standard of non-urgent patient transport services to the community of NSW and South Australia. This can include providing pre-booked, non-urgent services including home-to-hospital and inter-facility transfers.
This will involve liaison with other Ambulance and health-care employees, patients and the general public to undertake timely and efficient transportation services.
