This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with notice in alignment with the applicable Award. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
Lead the delivery of exceptional physiotherapy care in our Urgent Care Service, where you'll combine advanced clinical practice with leadership, mentoring and service improvement to make a meaningful difference for patients across the Central Coast.
About the Opportunity
Join our Urgent Care Service as a Physiotherapist Level 4 and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, evidence-informed physiotherapy care while providing clinical leadership within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to combine advanced clinical practice with service development, quality improvement and mentoring to help shape the future of physiotherapy services across the Central Coast.
In this role you will:

Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, treatment and clinical leadership to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.

Lead, support and mentor Physiotherapists and students, fostering professional development and promoting best practice.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families and community partners to ensure coordinated, seamless care.

Drive quality improvement initiatives, implement evidence-informed practice and contribute to service planning and workforce development.

Manage a complex clinical caseload while supporting the ongoing evaluation, safety and continuous improvement of the Urgent Care Service.

About You
You are an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist with a passion for clinical excellence, leadership and continuous improvement. You thrive in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment and are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care while supporting the development of others.
We are looking for someone who has:

Extensive clinical experience as a registered Physiotherapist, with advanced knowledge and skills in managing complex presentations.

Proven leadership experience, including the ability to coordinate services, mentor staff and support workforce development.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated experience leading quality improvement initiatives and implementing evidence-informed practice to enhance patient outcomes.

Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise competing demands while maintaining a high standard of clinical care.
