Audio Visual Hire & Sales Assistant

From local parties and school events through to major productions, festivals, venues, and corporate events, our team supports a wide range of customers across South East Queensland.
We’re looking for a motivated and hands on Hire & Sales Assistant to join our Brisbane branch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, technology, warehouse operations, and working in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers a mix of customer service, equipment hire, warehouse prep, and practical AV work. Full-time preferred, however casual and part-time opportunities may also be available for suitable applicants.
What you’ll be responsible for
Customer experience and sales
- Assist customers in store, over the phone, and via email
- Prepare hire and retail sales quotations and process customer orders
- Support customers with practical AV product and system advice
- Assist with retail point of sale transactions and general enquiries
- Maintain a professional and customer focused experience
Hire, Warehouse & Logistics
- Prepare hire equipment for customer collection and delivery
- Check equipment in and out accurately
- Assist with warehouse organisation, stock movement, and equipment storage
- Load and unload AV equipment safely
- Help maintain equipment presentation and readiness
Event & Technical Support
- Assist with deliveries, setups, and pack-downs when required
- Support basic testing and maintenance of audio visual equipment
- Learn and work with professional audio, lighting, staging, and event technology
What we’re looking for
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A practical, hands on attitude and willingness to learn
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse and event environment
- Interest or experience in audio, lighting, DJ, staging, music, events, or technology industries highly regarded
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A current manual driver licence required
- Availability 5 days, 38hr full time, with regular Saturday work as rostered
