Registered Nurse (RN) – Community Wound Care / Infection Management
About the Role
Nurselink Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong wound care and infection management skills to support a community-based client in the Mingenew region following hospital discharge. The client is currently being treated for a leg infection and requires ongoing nursing support in the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide wound care and infection management for lower limb conditions
- Monitor healing progress and escalate concerns as required
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications
- Support post-hospital discharge care plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Liaise with hospital teams, GPs, and support coordinators
Requirements
- Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse)
- Strong experience in wound care and infection management
- Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Community nursing or post-acute care experience highly desirable

- Monitor and document client health status
- Liaise with family members and healthcare professionals as required
Requirements :
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (6 months)
- Experience in community, oncology, or home care nursing preferred
- Current Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check preferred
- Up-to-date immunisations, including COVID-19 and Influenza
- Excellent communication, clinical, and leadership skills
