The EQ Hotel is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Housekeeping Attendants to join our pre-opening Housekeeping team in Perth.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the opening team of a new luxury hotel, helping to create exceptional first impressions and memorable guest experiences from day one.
Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, comfort, and hygiene across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
This is a hands-on operational role supporting a luxury hospitality environment.
As part of the pre-opening team, you will assist with preparing guest rooms, public areas, linen rooms, and operational areas for opening while participating in training and operational readiness activities.
Following opening, you will be responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and hotel facilities to luxury standards, ensuring every guest enjoys a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and operational areas to hotel standards
Replenish guest amenities, linen, and supplies as required
Ensure guest rooms are presented to luxury cleanliness standards
Clean and maintain public areas and back-of-house facilities
Report maintenance issues, defects, or safety concerns promptly
Handle guest belongings and lost property in accordance with hotel procedures
Assist with linen distribution, inventory replenishment, and housekeeping support duties
Support laundry operations where required
Maintain housekeeping equipment, trolleys, and storage areas in a clean and organised condition
Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests
Follow all WHS policies, safe work practices, and hygiene standards
Previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
Reliable, positive, and willing to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a service-focused attitude
Physically capable of performing manual housekeeping duties
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, based on your employment arrangement
Valid Australian work rights with the ability to work onsite in Perth
