About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts Payable Lead to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, takes ownership of end‑to‑end AP processes, and is committed to delivering high‑quality financial stewardship and customer service.
As the Accounts Payable Lead, you will oversee the full AP function, ensure compliance with statutory and internal controls, and drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee end‑to‑end creditor payments including EFT, utilities and non‑creditor accounts.
- Process and verify invoices through Ezescan, TechOne and Trellis (utility bills), ensuring all approvals and documentation are correct.
- Manage weekly payment runs and maintain accurate three‑way reconciliations across POs, invoicing and goods receipting.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and develop the AP team, ensuring coverage, capability and strong internal controls.
- Support month‑end and year‑end reporting, reconciliations and audit readiness.
- Drive system and process improvements, workflow optimisation and data integrity.
- Act as super user for TechnologyOne AP modules, Ezescan and Trellis.
- Prepare monthly management reports and creditor trend analysis.
About You
- Strong AP leadership experience in a complex organisation.
- Excellent understanding of AP controls, compliance and financial systems.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, improvement‑focused mindset.
- Experience with TechnologyOne, Ezescan and Trellis (highly regarded).
Your commencing annual salary will range from $87,680.34 to 113,984.44 + Superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
