Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with a strong background in data and analytics architecture to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing end-to-end data solutions. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise across data ingestion, storage, processing, integration, and consumption, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Experience
- Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end data and analytics architectures, covering data ingestion, storage, processing, integration, and consumption.
- 10+ years of experience in roles formally defined as a Solutions Architect, with demonstrated ownership of complex enterprise-scale solutions.
- Strong expertise in modern cloud data platforms, including cloud data lakes, data warehouses, and related data services.
- Extensive experience with cloud ecosystems, particularly Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.
- Design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance data pipelines and integration patterns, supporting both batch and real-time processing.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data lineage, metadata management, and data lifecycle practices.
- Ability to evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, platforms, and architectural patterns based on business, technical, security, and operational requirements.
- Experience working collaboratively with data engineering, analytics, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to balance strategic architectural considerations with practical delivery requirements and enterprise standards.
Documentation & Communication
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality architectural artefacts, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), data models, integration diagrams, architecture decision records, and technical specifications.
- Strong documentation skills, with an emphasis on producing clear, structured, auditable, and maintainable architectural documentation.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Experience contributing to architecture governance forums, design reviews, and technical decision-making processes.
- Ability to present and articulate architectural options, trade-offs, risks, and design decisions to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation aligned with enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and solution lifecycle practices.
Additional Requirements
- TOGAF qualification or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and practices, including architecture standards, reference patterns, principles, and governance/review processes.
- Understanding of data security, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements relevant to enterprise data environments.
- Experience with data cataloguing, governance, metadata management, and data discovery platforms/tools.
- Strong understanding of architecture principles relating to security, scalability, availability, performance, maintainability, and operational resilience.
Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
