We are seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our team on a rotating shift roster (day and afternoon shifts).
The role will initially be based at our Eagle Farm processing facility and will transition to our new Port West site upon completion.
Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, you will support both Engineering and Production teams by delivering efficient and high-quality maintenance services, including planned maintenance, breakdown response, and installation of new plant and equipment.
Roster (3-week rotating):
Week 1: Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:00pm (10-hour shifts)
Week 2: Tuesday–Saturday, 5:00am–1:00pm
Week 3: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm
Flexibility to work overtime is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise the performance of production lines, plant, and equipment
- Conduct fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities
- Minimise downtime by responding effectively to breakdowns
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across plant operations
About You
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability on production machinery
- Experience within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of PLC systems (desirable)
- Experience with high-speed production equipment (conveyors, sensors, packers, etc.)
- Understanding of preventative maintenance systems (e.g. MEX or similar)
- Ability to identify improvements and drive outcomes through to completion
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and hygiene standards
