What you will do
As facilities officer, you will help deliver facilities and accommodation services across the department.
You will support staff, maintain records and help keep workplaces running smoothly.
You will:
- monitor facilities issues and manage enquiries through the facilities management inbox
- coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with service providers
- support office moves, workspace changes and accommodation planning
- maintain accurate floor plans, seating plans and facilities records
- provide practical support and recommendations to resolve facilities matters.
About you
A trade qualification, tertiary qualification or related experience is highly desirable.
You will bring experience or knowledge in facilities management and be comfortable working with systems and records.
You should also have:
- knowledge of facilities management processes
- strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- good digital skills and confidence using workplace systems
- a flexible, inclusive and customer-focused approach to work.
