JOB DESCRIPTION: SCOOPER
Reporting to: Store Manager and/or Supervisors
Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide the customers with a wonderful experience when they visit the store.
Principal Duties: Acknowledge customers upon arrival and uphold a positive and enthusiastic interaction and engagement.
Scoop gelato and complete transactions.
Maintain store cleanliness and appearance. Ensuring that tables, cabinet glass, walkways and benches are frequently cleaned and presentable.
Refill cupboard stock and gelato cabinet.
Complete orders received by our Augustus Gelatery delivery partners. Including UberEats, Menulog and/or Doordash.
Uphold an understanding of allergen protocols and the requisite product knowledge to pass onto the customer while referring to the allergen disclaimer.
Refer customer complaints to supervisors and express apologies for their dissatisfaction.
Complete additional cleaning tasks such as dusting, wiping tiles, washing dishes, changing bin lines, and fill and face water bottles in drink fridge.
Closely follow open and close store procedures.
Pay: $13.90 – $34.76 per hour
