Property Officer / Property Management Assistant – Part Time Position
Consortium Property is seeking a reliable, organised and tech-savvy Property Officer / Property Management Assistant to provide direct support to our Director & Senior Property Manager.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with residential property management experience who enjoys variety, working independently and using technology to improve the way properties are managed.
As a boutique, technology-focused property management business, we are looking for someone who is confident using digital systems and can easily adapt to new platforms and processes.
This is a part-time position with flexibility to work from home when not attending properties, inspections or other property-related appointments.
About the role:
Working closely with the Director & Senior Property Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio, including:
- Assisting with tenant and landlord communication
- Responding to enquiries and providing updates in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance requests with tradespeople
- Following up maintenance matters and keeping relevant parties updated
- Liaising with tenants, landlords, contractors and suppliers
- Booking and attending routine inspections
- Assisting with routine inspection reports and property condition updates
- Conducting property visits and reporting any issues identified
- Assisting with ingoing and outgoing inspections
- Assisting with lease renewals and tenancy administration
- Following up compliance requirements and ensuring documentation is maintained
- Updating property management software and maintaining accurate digital records
- Using online systems, apps and portals to communicate and manage tasks efficiently
- Assisting with tenant enquiries, applications and general property management administration
- Providing day-to-day support to the Director & Senior Property Manager to ensure properties are managed proactively and efficiently
About you:
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and takes pride in delivering a high level of service to landlords, tenants and contractors.
The successful applicant will have:
- NSW Certificate of Registration
- Minimum 1 year experience in residential property management
- Current driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new technology platforms
- Experience using property management software and online systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude
- Confidence communicating with tenants, landlords and tradespeople
