Our practice is seeking a dedicated, caring dental therapist to join our small and friendly dental team. The role is part-time one or two days per week.
Our ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and can build a good rapport with our valued patients, including children. A high level of infection control is expected, as well as maintenance of detailed treatment records. A high level of professionalism is a must, including a committed, reliable personality.
Duties:
- Work in close association with the dentists, providing supportive dental care to patients.
- Dental hygiene therapy and prophylaxis, including thorough periodontal charting and assessment of the periodontal condition.
- Oral hygiene education of adult and children
- Preventative fluoride treatment and fissure sealants
- Work in close association with the dentist, providing supportive dental care to patients.
- Taking X-rays and using the intra-oral scanner.
Criteria:
You must have current qualifications and AHPRA registration in Bachelor of Oral Health and Therapy (BOHT) registered in Australia. Experience in the field is highly regarded.
Days required:
Mondays and Saturdays.
