Team Leader — Front of House | Trader & Co., Yass | Full-Time
Pay: From $56,000 per year (more for the right experience)
Near ten years into this community, we've learned the difference between people who show up and people who own the room. We need one of the second kind.
This is a leadership role. You'll run shifts, set the pace on the floor, make the coffee count, and be the person the team looks to when it gets busy. You don't need a resume that says "manager" on it — but you do need to already be someone who takes ownership without waiting to be asked.
What you'll do:
- Lead FOH shifts — pacing, table flow, guest experience
- Step in on the espresso machine when needed
- Set the tone for the team during a rush
- Support and train newer team members
- Notice what needs doing, and do it
You might be right for this if you:
- Have led or effectively run a shift before — hospo or elsewhere
- Stay calm and clear-headed under pressure
- Take initiative naturally, without needing constant direction
- Genuinely care about the people around you — guests and team alike
- Want real ownership, not just more hours
