The Role:
As our IS Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all hotel technology systems, including property management system, POS, network infrastructure and cyber security.
You will ensure all technology functionalities run smoothly, operate at optimum efficiency and are aligned with both regulatory compliance and brand standards.
This is a hands-on, operational role that works with a range of departments within the hotel, ensuring the reliability and connectivity of systems is in place for guests, clients and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a small site based team
- Manage and maintain the hotel’s network infrastructure and monitor network performance
- Provide daily technical support to all hotel departments, and diagnosing/resolving hardware, software and system issues
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
- Manage vendor contracts, renewals and performance
- Prepare and manage the IT budget
Our Ideal Candidate will:
- Have Hotel leadership experience in a similar role and environment within the past 5 years
- A self-starter who is highly driven and solutions-orientated
- Proven experience developing strategic plans in line with Hotel goals and strategy
- Have proven experience with project management
- Have proven experience leading and developing team members
- Exceptional communication skills and personal presentation
- Have full working rights for Australia
