- RN/M3 - $130,190 to $136,010 p.a. | AHP3 - $112,139 to $120,284 p.a. *
- Employment: Full Time - Short Term Contract (temporary up to 30 November 2026)

Looking for an opportunity where your work genuinely contributes to better healthcare outcomes? Join a collaborative Safety and Quality team dedicated to supporting safe, reliable, and patient-centred care across the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN).
Working closely with the Director, Safety and Quality, you will help strengthen governance frameworks, support improvement initiatives, and contribute to systems that enhance clinical quality and risk management across the network.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys project work, stakeholder collaboration, and using data to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
About the Role
You will contribute to a range of safety and quality initiatives across YNLHN, including:
- Supporting the review and implementation of the Integrated Governance Framework
- Assisting with projects and strategies that strengthen patient safety, quality improvement, and risk management
- Encouraging patient and consumer engagement within service delivery and improvement activities
- Collaborating with clinical divisions and professional leads to improve clinical services
- Using data and reporting insights to identify priorities and measure outcomes
- Supporting compliance with relevant healthcare standards and governance requirements
About You
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in quality improvement, governance, safety, or risk management
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to coordinate projects and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support service improvement
- A proactive approach with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and patient-centred care
For RN/M3 classification - You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Nurse/Midwife, and hold a current practicing certificate with a minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience.
For AHP3 classification - You must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for full membership with the relevant Professional Association. For professions requiring registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be met.
