Hotel Kununurra is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Handyperson.
Our venue consists of 45 hotel rooms with 3 different accommodation categories. The property in the center of town is comprised of two bars, family restaurant and a drive through Bottleshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repairing broken items such as windows, screens, fences
- Cleaning gardens and removing rubbish
- Loading, unloading and moving garden supplies and equipment
- Raking, aerating, dethatching, fertilising and mowing lawns
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in mechanical system and other hotel equipment
- Coordinating with local health, safety, fire, and building inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
The following qualification(s) or equivalent experience will be highly regarded:
- Must be physically fit and enjoy the outdoor work associated with this role.
- Work well within a team environment or autonomously as required.
- Driver’s licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
