About the role
Sun City Air Conditioning is seeking a Service Coordinator - Air Conditioning to join our growing team in Banyo, Queensland. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination of our air conditioning service operations. As Service Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our service delivery team, managing schedules, customer communications, and administrative processes to keep our business running efficiently. This role is based on-site at our Banyo location and is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service and outcomes in the field.
Scheduling experience (although desirable) is not essential, however admin experience is a must.

What you'll be doing
- Scheduling and coordinating service appointments for technicians, ensuring optimal route planning and customer satisfaction
- Managing customer enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels with professionalism and responsiveness
- Maintaining accurate records of service calls, customer information and job details in our systems
- Liaising between customers, technicians and management to resolve issues and ensure smooth service delivery
- Processing payments and managing basic accounting tasks related to service operations
- Monitoring technician availability and managing staff schedules
- Following up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
- Supporting the team with general administrative duties as required
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in an administrative support or coordination role, ideally within the trades, HVAC, or service-based industry
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach to customer interactions
- Proficiency with computer systems and office software, including email, spreadsheets and scheduling applications
- Ability to work independently whilst being a reliable team player who supports colleagues
- Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to handle customer concerns diplomatically
- Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to maintaining professional standards
- Basic knowledge of air conditioning systems or the HVAC industry is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous
