We are looking for a passionate Assistant Sales Manager (2IC) to join our MECCA George St Flagship store in NSW on a full-time, fixed-term basis, with the contract ending in January 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the leadership of a large-scale store and team of 80+ MECCA team members, partnering closely with the Sales Manager and Flagship Store Managers to create an exceptional customer experience and deliver strong commercial results.
As a senior leader in the store, you will be highly visible on the shop floor, helping set the standard for customer experience, team culture and performance. You’ll work alongside the Sales Manager to lead, coach and inspire a diverse team, while helping navigate the pace, scale and complexity of a flagship environment.
You will be responsible for:
Collaborating with the Sales Manager to lead a team of 80+, creating a high-performing, engaged and inclusive team culture.
Leading from the shop floor, role modelling exceptional customer experiences and inspiring your team to deliver MECCA Magic every day.
Supporting the Sales Manager in driving store performance, commercial outcomes and KPI achievement.
Coaching and developing leaders and team members, providing meaningful feedback and supporting performance management where required.
Helping lead the day-to-day operations of a high-volume flagship store, ensuring operational excellence and seamless execution.
Building strong relationships across the store and wider MECCA business, confidently collaborating with senior stakeholders and store leaders.
