About the Role
We are currently looking for Casual Registered Nurses to join our growing workforce for hospital opportunities across Northern Territory. This role is ideal for nurses seeking flexibility, additional shifts, or casual work across hospital environments. Opportunities may include a mix of day, afternoon, night, weekday, and weekend shifts depending on facility requirements.
As a Casual Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe, professional, and patient-centred care while working collaboratively with hospital teams and maintaining high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care in line with clinical standards and policies
- Assess, monitor, and support patients within hospital settings
- Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handover notes
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Respond appropriately to patient needs and changes in condition
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital compliance requirements
- Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-focused care at all times
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous hospital nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
- The ability to work confidently in fast-paced healthcare environments
- A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Availability for casual shifts, including short-notice opportunities where possible
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working With Children Check if required by facility
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support certificates
- Full Australian working rights
- Evidence of required vaccinations and compliance documentation
- Relevant clinical competencies and hospital experience
Desirable
- Experience in medical, surgical, acute, rehab, mental health, or specialty settings
- Flexibility across shift types
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Ability to work across multiple locations if required
