Spatial Property Styling styles and furnishes homes for sale across Sydney.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Team Leader – Furniture Removalist & Driver to join our team at our new Banksmeadow warehouse.
This is a hands-on role where you will drive the truck, lead an offsider and deliver, install and remove furniture from homes across Sydney.
What You'll Do
- Drive the company truck to and from properties across Sydney.
- Lead and manage your offsider each day.
- Load and unload furniture and homewares safely.
- Deliver and install furniture in styled homes.
- Remove furniture from properties and return it to the warehouse.
- Work alongside our Property Stylists onsite.
- Check furniture before leaving the warehouse and after returning.
- Report any damage, missing items or issues to Management.
- Keep the truck clean, organised and ready for work.
- Help keep the warehouse organised.
- Protect floors, walls and furniture when moving items.
- Follow all safety and manual handling procedures.
- Make sure each job is completed safely, efficiently and on time.
What We're Looking For
- Full Australian driver's licence.
- Previous removalist, furniture delivery or warehouse experience.
- Experience driving a truck or commercial vehicle is highly desirable.
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving furniture.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Able to confidently lead an offsider.
- Careful and respectful when working in customers' homes.
- Good knowledge of Sydney roads and suburbs.
- Positive attitude and willing to get stuck in.
- Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
Hours
Monday to Friday – 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Minimum 40 hours per week
This is a casual position with regular full-time hours.
