Prepare import/export shipping paperwork based on L/C, certificate of origin, customs/insurance declaration
Liaising with shipping companies, Suppliers and buyer and process executions
Maintain shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information to customers on request.
Communicate status of shipping/receiving activities to appropriate personnel within the organization. Review open customer orders, create pick worksheets on an as needed basis to efficiently meet the customer shipping schedule and satisfy the requested ship dates
Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders in order to know the shipping schedule/ changes in schedule/route.
Communicate shipping volumes and priorities closely with the Manufacturing Manager to optimize available resources
Coordinate with Accounts section to generate customer invoicing upon shipping
Maintain knowledge of current and international import/export regulatory requirements. Update applicable standard operating procedures as necessary.
Effectively lead cross-functional root causes and corrective action to resolve customer-related shipping and documentation issues.
Preparation of reports like Logistics Cost Report, KPI report
Assist in basic accounting functions on a need to basis
Assist with Ad hoc administrative work.
Pay: $52,880.00 – $109,713.16 per year
