Your Story Community Supports (YSCS) is a growing registered NDIS provider delivering Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Participation and Specialist Supported Residential Care (SSRC) services across New South Wales and Queensland.
We're looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our operations, drive service excellence, strengthen compliance and support the continued growth of our organisation.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive leadership role is responsible for the day-to-day operational performance of the organisation and will be recognised as NDIS Key Personnel.
About the Role
As General Manager, you will lead our senior operational team and ensure the organisation consistently delivers safe, person-centred, commercially sustainable services.
You will oversee:
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) services
- Community Participation programs
- SSRC services
- Operational performance across NSW and QLD
- Compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards
- Financial performance and operational budgets
- Workforce planning and leadership
- Participant and stakeholder escalations
- Continuous improvement and organisational growth
You'll work closely with our CEO and provide leadership to the Operations Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Compliance, HR and Finance teams.
What You'll Bring
We're seeking a confident leader who has:
- Significant senior leadership experience within an NDIS provider or comparable human services organisation
- Strong experience managing SIL or other 24/7 disability services
- Excellent knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Commission requirements and Pricing Arrangements
- Experience managing operational budgets and commercial performance
- Strong understanding of the SCHADS Award and workforce management
- Experience leading audits, investigations and regulatory compliance
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to build high-performing teams and create a culture of accountability
Desirable
- Experience with SSRC and Office of the Children's Guardian (OCG) requirements
- Multi-site or multi-state operational leadership
- Experience using ShiftCare, Xero and PRODA
- Qualifications in Business, Management, Human Services or a related discipline
