Report to Associate Director, Book Sales – APAC.
The Field Sales Executive – ANZ visits universities and other higher education institutions and conducts outbound sales campaigns within a designated geographical territory to maximise sales and grow revenue from academic institutions across the territory for key product groups.
To achieve or exceed revenue targets as given each year.
Maintaining and growing our existing customer relationships.
Identifying new and untapped markets in your allocated territories and working collaboratively with our greater team to expand our opportunities.
Maximising Sage’s revenues from all available streams – imminent changes to the book-buying process (including institutional sales) and textbook formats (print to digital) command new approaches to the market.
Management and dissemination of pipeline opportunities using the Sage CRM.
Representing Sage at academic and society conferences.
Sales and sales negotiation skills, adaptable for all customer/market types.
Demonstrate proficiency in sales enablement tools like Highspot, BinTinCan, MsCRM.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate & effectively interact with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, age, ethnicities, race etc.
Operate an effective campus calling cycle, pipeline/CRM recording process and follow-up process in order to meet and exceed yearly sales goals at the territory and key title level.
