About Beevo
Beevo is a Melbourne-based business that connects new commercial tenants to essential utilities and services — including electricity, gas, waste, telecommunications, and financial services. We are building Leasey, a SaaS platform that digitises the commercial leasing journey for real estate agents and tenants, streamlining a process that has historically been manual and fragmented.
As we scale Leasey and grow our operations, keeping our internal systems running smoothly and securely is essential. This role is a key hire that will ensure our team has reliable, well-maintained technology to do their best work.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dependable and organised IT Systems Administrator to manage Beevo's day-to-day internal technology environment. This is a hands-on role covering endpoint management, network and security administration, internal IT support, and vendor coordination.
You'll be working closely with senior technical staff who can provide guidance and context on the broader technology landscape. This is a great fit for someone with a few years of IT support or systems administration experience who wants a role with genuine ownership in a growing SaaS business.
Key Responsibilities
Internal IT Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal IT issues, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding of staff, including device setup, account provisioning, and access management.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
- Coordinate with senior technical staff on escalated issues that require deeper infrastructure knowledge.
Endpoint & Device Management
- Manage and maintain all company devices including laptops, desktops, and mobile endpoints.
- Oversee antivirus, patch management, and device compliance across the organisation.
- Ensure devices meet security and compliance standards at all times.
Network & Security Administration
- Maintain corporate network configuration, VPN access, and associated security controls.
- Manage and audit user access controls across all business systems and platforms.
- Monitor for and triage security incidents, escalating to senior staff where appropriate.
- Support the enforcement of IT security policies across the organisation.
Vendor & Licence Coordination
- Coordinate with IT vendors, ISPs, and SaaS tool providers on day-to-day operational matters.
- Track software licences and renewals, ensuring nothing lapses and costs are managed efficiently.
- Liaise with vendors to resolve service issues in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience
Required
- 2+ years in an IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration role.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls).
- Experience managing endpoints and devices across Windows and/or macOS environments.
- Familiarity with user access management and identity platforms (e.g. Active Directory, Google Workspace, or similar).
- Comfortable managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-managing approach — able to prioritise and work independently.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience in a SaaS or technology business environment.
- Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) platforms.
- Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Australian data privacy obligations (Privacy Act, Australian Privacy Principles).
- Experience with IT ticketing or service management tools.
Reporting Structure & Team Context
This role reports directly to the Technical Leads. You'll have regular access to senior technical staff who can provide support and context on more complex infrastructure matters. While this is not a people management role, you'll have clear ownership of the IT support function and room to grow as the business scales.
What We Offer
- Clear ownership of the internal IT function within a growing SaaS business.
- A supportive team environment with access to experienced senior technical staff.
- On-site role based in Melbourne, VIC.
- $65,000 – $75,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- A genuine growth path as Beevo and Leasey continue to expand.
- A collaborative, mission-driven team working on an exciting product in the commercial property sector.
