About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at John Flynn Retirement Village in Burwood East as a Village Host. This is a Part Time position working Thursday, Friday and Saturday 1600-2000.
In this role you'll work as a Food & Beverage attendant and work within our village centre bar. Our village centre is a hive of activity and is the place to be during our resident happy hours.
You will be responsible for ordering stock and arranging a full range of refreshments for the bar and various village events. Our hosts open the bar, take orders, wait tables for bar menu items and close at the end of the evening. All whilst ensuring the village centre is tidy and well presented at all times.
About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
- RSA is a required for the role - holding this is strongly desired
- Previous experience working in hospitality or a customer service role ie. Barperson, Waiter, Barista
- Strong empathy
- Outstanding communication skills
- A reliable, friendly and professional manner
