As a manufacturer, we design, produce and distribute diesel and gas generators, air compressors, lighting towers, as well as providing sales, after-sales and warranty support.
The Role
An opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic Warehouse Specialist to join our busy Warehouse Department.
The ideal candidate must have a valid license for and proven experience in forklift driving, have excellent communication skills, teamwork, organisational skills. The Warehouse Specialist is required to take ownership in the layout and cleanliness of the warehouse and internal working spaces, as well as update information on our internal stock systems - experience in systems such as Pipedrive will be highly considered!
The role will be suitable for a range of skill levels, including more junior candidates, with room to grow and develop as the business develops.
Duties & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should be able to:
1. Maintain control of the inventory management system, update other Departments with regard to stock status.
2. Load and unload containers when they arrive, and put away stock in a ordered, timely fashion
3. Maintain the warehouse area to look clean and professional at all times
4. Liaise with warehouse suppliers, including arranging for forklift service, oil & fuel suppliers, crane service suppliers, rubbish bin and scrap metal suppliers
5. Perform routine checks on some stock, assisting members of the service team during busy times throughout the year
6. Be the main contact point for logistics contacts, make bookings as necessary, organise dispatch as and when they fall due
7. Assist spare parts in obtaining quotes, packing and dispatch – following through on Pipedrive and actioning on a day-to-day basis
8. Organise and conduct stock take on a regular basis, as well as when directed by managers
9. Other duties assigned by managers from time to time

1. The ability to undertake multiple tasks with a minimum level of direct supervision
2. The ability to analyse and plan to account for any changes in stock ahead of time and be able to convey same to other Departments
3. A keen attention to detail to be able to action changes as and when they occur
4. The ability to work in a team, both within the Warehouse as well with other Powerlink
Departments
5. Have a ‘can do’ attitude to help out with other Warehouse tasks when required
We also provide company lunches every Tuesday as well as casual Fridays, in addition to functions throughout the year for events such as staff birthdays, Easter, Melbourne Cup and Christmas.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
