About the Health Centre : Amberley Health Centre, located at RAAF Base Amberley — the largest Air Force base in Australia, just 50 minutes from Brisbane. The centre delivers healthcare services to over 6,500 RAAF members and includes primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, and mental health care. The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
What you’ll do

Provide oral hygiene treatments and preventive dental care to patients
- Deliver tailored oral health education and advice to support wellbeing
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Support infection control, sterilisation, and hygiene protocols
- Collaborate with dental and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe care
- Ensure compliance with Defence policies and clinical standards
What you bring

current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Therapist
- minimum 2 years’ recent clinical experience in dental hygiene
- ability to work both independently and within a supportive team
- strong communication skills with a caring, patient-focused approach
- commitment to maintaining high clinical and ethical standards
- Australian Citizenship to obtain Baseline Security Clearance

This is a permanent part-time position requiring you to be available to work two fixed days per week: Mondays and Tuesdays.
