About the Role:

The Food Services Department at The Canberra Hospital has a temporary opportunity available within the Stores area. This role involves receiving and delivering supplies to the Food Services Production area, Staff Cafeteria, and other areas across the hospital. Delivery of food and supplies to outstations is also required.
This position operates on a rotating roster, including weekend and shift work.
A current Australian driver’s licence is essential for this role. Responsibilities include serving, delivering, and collecting meals and beverages both internally and externally; assisting with the preparation of salads, sandwiches, texture-modified meals, and supplements; and operating and cleaning all utensils and equipment. You will also be involved in ordering, replenishing, and receiving consumables, materials, and other deliverables, along with a range of tasks essential to Food Services operations.
We are seeking someone who is adaptable and flexible, with strong organisational, coordination, and planning skills.
